The first phase of the Research and Education Building is now open, housing around 100 education, research and clinical staff and giving the hospital unparalleled facilities, positioning it as an international leader in the development of safer and more effective medicines for children and young people.
The building’s form is designed to open up to a future park landscape. A curvilinear central atrium acts as a serpentine extension of the park, drawing planting and light into the heart of the building.
